My greatest asset as a nanny is being trustworthy. I tend to always put the child first. I’m aware that I am solely responsible for the children when the parents are away on duty and must consider the children’s safety first and foremost. I also understand parents depend on me to meet or exceed the terms of their working relationship, trust me to do my job well and to provide outstanding care. Plus, I always follow the parent's instructions. I understand that as a nanny you learn and have access to some sensitive information about the family, and I ought to protect their privacy at all costs. On top of that I am a very reliable person, I’m aware that I am a sole childcare provider, so it is important that I’m always on time and manage my day with the children and not get overwhelmed with responsibilities. Additionally, if a parent is in call for a nanny that tutors, I’m a very good English and math tutor with 2 years of experience, I am confident in my knowledge of the two subjects and able to explain concepts easily. I’d like to boast and say that I acquire good teaching skills and able to take the subject knowledge and explain it in such a way that the child understands it. This includes knowing where to start, being able to pace the work correctly, always checking that the child understands, being interactive, and simplifying difficult topics if need be. Finally, these are my top three greatest strengths that I value the most in this profession which has made me the best nanny that I am. With the activities I arrange for the child, the child will enjoy a rich and varied day, which will aid their social, personal and physical development.
